um.............ah, when we are in a natural situation, in a situation in woods or ah sky etcetera, we we um ....................................................................the aspects of the human character that have to do with vision and intuition and so forth are stimulated. And they are not so stimulated when we are at an intersection in the city and have to stop because there is a red light. Ah, when we are in the presence of law, I think vision tends to be diminished. It is through art that among other things, that the imagination again has a stimulus.

Jameson has created an A-G accredited high school music program that combines the accessibility of popular music ensembles with the creative tools of classical composition.

At the heart of the program is a Music Ensemble open to all levels and instruments. Students leave the ensemble with life long access to collaborative music making in their community.

In the Music Theory course students learn the techniques of composition within the context of the development of Western classical music.  Like time travelers, they discover each evolution and innovation chronologically, adopting the aesthetic and philosophical values of the time and place in order to better understand the meaning of the music.  It is proposed that such an approach will connect technique to history, and liberate the student to evolve and innovate techniques for their own time and place.

Jameson has taught at Mid-Peninsula High School in Menlo Park since 2012. Previously, he taught at the Vibo Music Center in San Francisco and Allegro Music School in Boston.
